She is an M.B.B.S, M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh and M.S. (International/Global Health) from University of California, San Francisco. She has a long experience of serving in the Medical, Health & Family Welfare Department, National Health Mission and National Health Insurance Planning.
