About this Event
We are happy to announce Devtoberfest, an eight-week celebration by developers, for developers to kick off SAP TechEd 2020.
Devtoberfest is an opportunity for you to build something that makes your fellow SAP developers lives better and do so in an open-source-way so everyone can share in it. Projects could focus on a tool, a library, a code sample, or an enhancement to an existing community open source project. All projects that result from this event, will be given back to the SAP developer community.
The event will consist of 9 weeks of technical educational and enablement sessions starting the week of August 24, 2020. The sessions will be open to the entire community and will highlight key technologies and techniques, as well as plant seed ideas (the schedule of sessions will be announced soon). The event will culminate with a week dedicated to the Build sprint starting on October 24, 2020.
If your project gets selected by the community as the No. 1 project, you’ll earn major bragging rights. Furthermore, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that the whole developer community will benefit from what you built or started building during this event.
When you register, you'll need to acknowledge that you have read and accept the Official Contest Rules in order to be eligible to participate in the Build week and for your project to be presented to the community for voting.
REGISTER NOW!
For this event, we will use GitHub as the open platform. Code, collaboration, planning, submission, support from SAP, etc… will all be done via GitHub. Check out the repo here.
